Read from Tweaktown:

The new information on Valve's next-gen Steam Deck 2 handheld is coming from leaker Tom @ Moore's Law is Dead, who said that his sources told him "Little Phoenix is a "Van Gogh successor" and began "late in its development cycle" with the goal to "build an Ultra Low Power & Compact version of Pheonix".

Inside, the APU reportedly features 4 cores and 8 threads on AMD's next-gen Zen 4 CPU architecture, with 25-35% higher PPC and boost clocks that could reach 4GHz. Valve would also get some big GPU upgrades from the AMD RDNA 3-based GPU, which should see the next-gen Steam Deck 2 with over 50% more performance than the GPU inside of the first-gen Steam Deck.

Tom revealed more details about the GPU side of things on AMD's new Little Phoenix APU, adding that Valve, "depending on how hard they push the clocks, and what accelerators they include -- it's conceivable this (Steam Deck 2 APU) performs like a R5 3600. More than enough for AAA games at 60FPS" and he's not wrong.l

Steam Deck 2 looks like a very fast handheld with a 4 GHz CPU, and AMD GPU. I would love to try it out.

From the leak it does look promising. wonder on the price tag though.

That price tag will hurt but it will be interesting to see what it is like. Always good to see more handhelds, especially powerful ones like the Steam Deck

Indeed and for portable gaming steamdeck has much better price to performance ratio than a gaming Laptop imo though gaming laptop has bigger screen size and resolution. But gaming laptop's price tag is 2x or more of a gaming desktop PC with much much less gaming power than a gaming desktop pc with a price tag 2x cheaper of that a gaming laptop's.
So Steamdeck > Gaming Laptop and Gaming Laptop < Gaming Desktop PC but Gaming Console > Gaming Desktop PC imo lol

If I ever got into PC gaming, it would definitely be with a desktop. I honestly have no idea how people use laptops for gaming. It's just a bit too annoying

You get used to it, if you travel a lot, it’s one of those situations where you gotta make the decision of playing your games, or not playing your games.
