Wasn't it morning in the landscape in the original one? Over here, its sort of evening! I also like how the nourishment got replaced with pokeballs, stars, mushrooms, and such for the characters.

I don't recognize the guy in green to the right of Mario. I think it would be safe to say that Mario made gaming accessible to millions of kids, who are now grown up and still gaming. Nice to see mega-man in there. I loved those games.
