So the must awaited game has been released now for a little while now, but I for one have not taken the plunge into buying the game. With very much mixed reviews, and that is being kind, on the internet out there, I am interested in knowing if anyone has tried the game out for themselves? And if not, then why not?
I had an invite for the closed beta awhile back and gave it a whirl. Now, I've never really been one to play much of the Elder Scrolls games, but I am a fan of generic MMO's.
Overall, I didn't really like the feel or gameplay of it, but part of that may be due to it taking a few unconventional steps from say the big boys in this realm. Now, you can make an argument that this is a good thing, but in others it can be cumbersome.
Overall, I couldn't really stomach playing through it long enough to get a true feel for it. I really had such low interest in everything and there was next to no excitement or interesting aspects to keep me playing.
From what I've read online about this game, most of the hardcore Elder Scroll's fans wish that instead of making an MMO, they just make another stand alone game.
I've never been big on the MMOs. But this is the exception. If it's elder scrolls, I'll play it. I've never closely followed a video game series aside from this one.
I don't have a PC that will run it, so I am waiting for it to be released on the PS4. It was supposed to be released in June on the PS4 but now it got pushed back until December.
P.S. I am not as excited for it anymore after reading all those mixed PC reviews.
Yeah I've gotta agree with you guys. Skyrim was such an amazing game and I was hoping for a lot better turnout for ESO. Ehh maybe it'll be a bit better on console, as I'm hoping it'll be worth getting for the Xbox One.
I'd like to see some opinions from people actually playing the release version currently. Like many, I played the beta and wasn't too impressed, but it would be nice to see up-to-date replies from people who have the real thing.
Seems like it could have come a long way now, anyone had any PC experience as of late that proved enjoyable? I want to get it for PS4 when it launches soon but want to know how good it is on PC now.
I heard it will go free to play soon. I think I`ll pick it up and check out why everybody said it was really bad. Ever since this game was announced, I thought it was a bad idea. The Elder Scrolls franchise is just not made to be an MMO game in my opinion.
I might have to try it out if it goes free to play soon. I wonder how much they will limit for non paying members though. I really enjoyed Skyrim and was slightly interested in the Elder Scrolls Online but never found the time to start playing it.
