One of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions is to go Black Friday shopping with my dad, and this year Walmart is making it much easier by offering their Black Friday deals at 10pm on Thanksgiving evening, followed by events at Midnight and 8 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 25.
“Our customers told us they would rather stay up late to shop than get up early, so we’re going to hold special events on Thanksgiving and Black Friday,” said Duncan Mac Naughton, chief merchandising officer, Walmart U.S. “We’ll have this season’s hottest gifts at prices only Walmart can provide. And by sharing our Black Friday specials earlier than ever, we hope to make buying decisions easier for parents working hard to give their families the Christmas they deserve.”
And luckily for you, we've got a list of some of the best electronic goods that you may want to keep an eye out for during the sale.
At 10pm on Thanksgiving you can snag the following:
Xbox360 4GB with Kinect Console – $199.96 plus a $50 Walmart gift card
6V or 12V Ride-Ons (e.g., Jeep Wrangler, X Games ATV or Barbie Jeep) – $99 each
Barbie, Disney Princess or Bratz branded Fashion Dolls – $5 each
Paula Deen® 20-Piece Cookware Set – $86.44
Black & Decker Blender, Coffeemaker or Electric Griddle – $9.44 each
Then, at Midnight there will be an entire electronics event featuring:
Midnight Electronics Event (Nov. 25)
At 8am on Black Friday the store will have specials including:
Walmart is also promising to match the price of any local competitor's printed ad for an identical product so don't forget to take those with you to the store! Of course these lists don't show all of the items that will be on sale, either. Walmart usually has tons of games, DVDs, Blu-rays, and just about everything else known to man on sale during Black Friday so if you don't see what you want right here, don't worry. The Xbox with Kinect bundle is pretty hot, though.
