There are countless streaming sticks available in the market and all of them serve the same purpose more or less. Options include the Amazon Fire TV Stick, Google Chromecast, Roku Streaming Stick and more. There were rumors that Walmart might introduce one of its own and indeed it has. The retailer is now selling Vudu Spark streaming stick which intends to undercut its rivals on price as it only costs $25.

The Vudu Spark is pretty much like every other streaming stick out there. It hooks up to a HDMI port and is powered through USB. It is controlled through a separate remote control. There’s support for 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and the Vudu Spark and provide full 1080p output with 7.1 surround sound.

$25 is a pretty good price for a streaming stick considering that it also comes with a remote control, and supports 1080P resolution with 7.1 surround sound.

I agree streaming sticks are nothing unique. I think the point of streaming sticks  is streaming sticks are not unique, and their main purpose is to be a very affordable device to easily stream video to a TV from video websites like YouTube, Netflix, and Vudu.

Streaming sticks are a lot cheaper than replacing your TV with a Smart TV, or buying a PC, tablet, settop box, game console, and other internet video devices for connecting to a TV to watch streaming services like Netflix.

Streaming sticks also use a lot less electricity than a PC, console, tablet, and other devices, so they are good if you care about saving electricity, and money on your power bill.

Streaming sticks are also easy to carry around in your pocket to quickly watch streaming video on another TV with HDMI ports by just plugging it into the HDMI port, and the power adapter into a power plug.

everyone has a streaming stick, the question is who has the better one?
I heard the Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV stick, and Roku are pretty good. Although, I feel most people just buy the one which is most affordable, and offer the most services like Netflix, Hulu, Crunchy Rolls, etc on it.
