Update, June 5: The official Watch Dogs Twitter account has just tweeted a short teaser trailer, confirming the title Watch Dogs Legion, as well as the game's appearance at E3 next week.
Original story:

The next installment of Watch Dogs will be called Watch Dogs Legion, if a new listing on Amazon is accurate. Captured by Twitter user Wario64, the listing actually contains some revealing details: it'll be set in a "post-Brexit" dystopian London, and not only that, all NPCs will be playable.

"Watch_Dogs Legion is set in a near-future, dystopian version of London," the description reads. "It's a post-Brexit world in which society, politics and technology have changed and altered London's fortunes. London is one of the most iconic cities in the world and has had a massive influence on all of Western Culture for centuries... London makes total sense for WD, as the city has one of the highest surveillce (sic) levels in the world making this the perfect playground."
Elsewhere, the listing informs that you can "play as anyone".
"Every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated and guided by gameplay systems."
It's par for the course for any Ubisoft game to be leaked ahead of its official release, but there have been clues that the next Watch Dogs would take place in London for some time. Tyler speculated last weekthat Watch Dogs 3 will have "a more serious tone" and a "greater focus on creepy future tech a la Black Mirror", and the signs are in his favour, so far.

I prefer Watch Dogs 1 protag, played the first game but not a fan of the second game's protag.

First two were decent, will keep an eye on this. Although I'd rather our political calamities weren't used as the setting and storyline for a game :p

I agree. I never played the first one but I think I would have prefered how darker it was. Watch Dogs 2 felt like a bit of a joke really and I didn't finish it.

Looking forward to seeing what this is especially with a London setting. Wonder if I'll be able to visit my house

Aiden Pearce is a much cooler protag, he's stoic, serious and got more charisma sort of like solid snake-y and sam fisher-y while Marcus is not.

He wasn't received that well at all in general though right? I found the first title much more memorable also but felt I was in the majority.

Well Watch Dogs 2 didn't sell as much as the first too.

Seemed to review better though. People said it had more personality. I think it just came out at a time when no single player game was selling. I remember a couple of other titles doing poorly over that season back then too.

Indeed.

Though Watch Dogs 2 trailers never got me interested, Marcus was the final blow for me to skip the game.

Saw the reveal of Watch Dogs Legion, didn't manage to hook me enough. Watch Dogs 1 ftw lol

Thought it looked ok. Finally some gameplay at last at E3. I wonder how the play as anyone mechanic will work. I feel that’ll massively negatively effect the story which is usually best told through one characters story.

That is precisely the problem imo without any strong main central character/characters and too much characters that you can play will hurt the story. If they want to do that they should do it Valkyria Chronicles 4 way, where the four main central characters are strong characters that drive the narrative forward and the focus of the main narrative while all the many other characters that you can also play got some character specific stories tied to the main narrative they are not the focus of the main narrative. While with Watch Dogs Legion, it looks like all the characters that you can play are the focus of the main narrative so far...
