According to a job listing, Warner Bros. Montreal is hiring a Senior Producer to oversee the entire development process, from concept to launch, for a new AAA title set in the DC Comics universe. The job description indicates the game is still in the early pre-production phase, signaling that more news may take time to emerge.
Adding to the excitement, recent rumors suggest Rocksteady may also be working on a new Batman game, with Sony allegedly looking to secure exclusivity. With WB Montreal previously working on the Batman Arkham franchise, it remains to be seen if their new project will align with Rocksteady’s potential title or if they could be working on something completely different within the DC Universe.
There have been past rumors about a Superman game, although this project was never officially confirmed. Given Warner Bros. Montreal’s history with Batman: Arkham Origins and Gotham Knights, it’s possible the new project could focus on Batman or other characters from the DC Universe.
