This is the first of many new announcements to be posted regarding new functions available to GF members from our recent upgrade. This one being the major one of all.
During the upgrade I had a bridge mod installed on our sever, what this means is that the database of the forum and website are now connected meaning that your account is now connected to both website and forum. When you go to the website you're still logged on and able to post on the website without doing anything extra.
Once you post on the website, whether it be a article or a comment those are also then posted here:
http://forum.gamingforce.us/index.php/forum/216-website-articles/
which increases your post count on the forum.
The purpose of this is to bring quality articles to GF and make it so that members can easily post on them. Our wordpress website seems to be able to pull in better SEO traffic than the forum, so by making the website active we should be increasing traffic to the forum. Adsense is also placed on the website in hopes of bringing in currency, so if you like to submit some articles please PM me.
Now to become registered on the websites, first make sure you are logged in on the forum. Then simply go to the website: (link is in the navi bar)
http://gamingforce.us/
And you should be automatically registered. If you do not show as logged in, simply sign out of the forum and relogin and go to the site once more and you should be connected. Once you are connected PM me if you wish to submit articles and I'll grant you the permission needed.
So that's it, GF has further expanded and makes further strides to become a top notch gaming forum. If you have any questions post below.
