So, he basically had the same idea I had.

This is the version I listen to, which I like a lot, but I felt during the chorus there needed to be some kind of beat during it. Nothing too heavy like a drum, just a simple hand against a desk would've done fine. Though, he does it through the whole song, which is fine, but I like it being silent everywhere but the chorus.

He's got talant no doubt. The song sounds like a Pirate song or something. I have heard something similar in Pirates movies.
