What are that new Pokemon anyway?

They were shown off in a movie teaser a while back, yet we have no idea what they actually are at the moment. Here are pictures showing them both:

So what are they? The latter looks a bit like what a Mega Zygarde could look like, but the former is like nothing we've ever seen in the series. Are actual new Pokemon species introduced in a third gen 6 game? Is gen 7 right round the corner?

Old, but it's actually a form of Zygarde. Sorry.

That's a fairly accurate summary, yes. The designs do not look Pokemon like at all to be honest...
