Also Toys R Us is making a come back.

I miss Radio Shack, you could always find that odd thing you need there.

And a local place called Walsh Store, it was like walmart before there was a walmart.

My local k-mart had a little ceasers pizza place in it, always had awesome lunch specials. Miss the place.

Yes, Blockbuster was awesome! Before them in my home town it was "Erol's". I remember you had to like walk thru this narrow passage and show ID and stuff to get the tapes. This was back when renting was still fairly new.

Yes I remember that as well. They had to hand you the tapes on the other side of the security so you don't set off the alarm. My parents never let me get the snacks but I always dreamed of being able to buy the candy and bucket of popcorn some day.

Their snacks reminded me of stuff you'd find at movie theatre concession stands which I also never expected to get when visiting the cinema. I'm pretty sure that's why I tend to splurge now as an adult.
