What did winpatrol do?!

so I upgraded my winpatrol to the latest version tonight, when I did it began to detect a lot of unknown stuff. so I delete it all but it kept coming back up on winpatrol to be deleted and such. So I did a restart and when my PC fully rebooted I found out some stuff was missing which made somethings on Windows 7 unable to work. so I download the program to fix that then it says my Windows 7 is not a genuine o.0

so after 20 minutes of hassle, I managed to fix it all. but if you use winpatrol be careful what you delete. And I downgrade my winpatrol to prevent this from happening again.

anyone else who upgraded winpatrol to 19.3.2010.5:19.3.2010.5 have this problem?

I'm using the latest version of WinPatrol Plus, and it seems to be working fine currently.

No, but you should always make sure that you create a back up of the files you decide to delete and look up the filename online so that you can see what the file is, what it is used for, as well as what programs are associated it.

I started doing that when my firewall and a/v software kept detecting and quarantining some .dll files that I didn't bother looking up, and just allowed to be deleted..

luckily there was a system back up I could fall back on. and there was a MS dill file that I think I deleted but before I did I checked it and winpartol had no info on it which then I deleted.
