E3 What did you make of EA E3?

Personally I wasn't expecting much so I wasn't disappointed but I also wasn't blown away by the showing. Wanted to see more Battlefront story mode stuff and was hoping for a Dead Space reboot or remastered collection or something (same hope for Mass Effect really) but was left wanting.

What did you think of the show?

I always find anyone but the big three and Square Enix to be meh, specially EA. Overall, nothing amazing really.

Looking forward to FIFA. I know they don't really change too much but I swear they have a way with making everything small seem so much better and awesome. Can't wait to see the changes they've made to the crowd!

I agree, most years it does seem like a worthy upgrade. Hear they have reverted corners and penalties from what they had in 17.

I wasn't that impressed. I think I didn't really expect much. This sentiment is probably widespread as well.

Personally, I concluded the EA press conference with a pretty unimpressed "meh." I like the Need for Speed games, so showcasing "gameplay" of the Heist Mode for Payback was nice. However, I put gameplay in quotes because something about the whole sequence just felt like it was mostly pre-rendered.

Besides that, I suppose Anthem is something to get excited about but technically that game got most of the attention during the Xbox conference. Other than those two, it just felt like the same old routine with them.
