The results are alright since they get the results from Google, Yahoo, and live.

But, I think people try to exploit it by making a bunch of fake searches and get more points to redeem for gift cards. I don't really care if the company tracks my search history since they know I just search about pokemon, video games, computers, and other geeky stuff.

soooo, they pay you to search? weird.
 
Actually, it is not so weard. Since you have to search 6500 times just to get a $25 gift card which isn't that great of a deal since it will take you years to get 6500, but you can earn 25% of your refferals points, so if you reffer a lot of active people then you can get a gift card easily. It is all part of their plan to suck you into their site.

I think they hope you click on their sponsored link which pays them.

It is sort of like Yuwie: http://www.yuwie.com/ which pays you to socialize, but it kind of sucks now since it is full of ads.
 
I check that site out. Mypoints also give out gift vouchers. I got a $25 Amazon voucher for trading in around 3000 points.
