Software prices are kind of expensive, so I usually use freeware, open source, and bundled software I get when I buy a new PC or hardware.

Gimp is one of my Favourite Photo editing programs.
Lol. I think prices in general are too high. If a company can cut prices by 50% for sale easily, then why can't they do that year round?

I think some of the software from smaller companies like Corel are more Reasonable like Paint Shop Pro cost about 100 dollars.

Well, its true... sortof... Mac is expensive, windows also... Photoshop is killer. There arent many good programs(yes, for once Im saying windows is good.... one time thing) that are cheap, like linux.

Linux earns most of its money through support and costumer service.
Eh, I don't really care much for software prices. As long as they aren't too expensive I don't got much to say. XD

Yeah, I think software prices are reasonable if you use the software for work since you earn the money back eventually.
A good way of getting cheap software is buying it at school if your a college student since college students usually get it at a discounted price.
