I feel it can be a bad idea to spend a lot of your money to decorate things like a house or a car with other very expensive items like a gold statue, expensive artwork, and expensive crystals. Some expensive smartphone/iPhone cases and game consoles which are made of gold, leather, etc is not always worth the high price when you may end up using the phone case for only a few years.
There is always a chance you may need more money in the future if you suddenly lost your job, need to buy expensive medicine or pay hospital bills which can cost thousands of dollars, and you need to buy a new expensive item like a laptop or car because it broke, got stolen or lost.
Expensive items like houses and cars can be very expensive to repair and maintain, so it is good idea to save money to pay for future repairs and maintenance when you are retired or unemployed, so you have enough money to repair and maintain something, and still have money for food, taxes, and utility bills.
