Becoming a video content creator can be a difficult task especially for newbies with no one guiding them. I used to think about the things that will make one become a good video content creator. What do you think?

First, you need to look at a popular market for your content, whether it's a video series or a video game. It takes some fun or entertaining writing, with something of value to go over with viewers who may have never seen, or want to be involved in, the said content. It can be archival, or chill, creative commentary on crafts. Sometimes you can explain short things but with some assets or PNGs. Assets are a big thing in case people find your content attractive to watch. I never did it seriously but there are a lot of trends and stuff that are easy to pick up on.

I feel video creators need to create original videos which help people solve a problem like a funny comedy video with a funny storyline help people solve their boredom problem by watching their video, or a cooking video help people solve a problem of not knowing how to cook, and wanting to learn to cook a certain meal like fried eggs.

Tbh, standing out is the biggest thing.

It’s also helpful if you don’t have the charisma, pick a field that has a higher barrier of entry, or a lesser known subject. You might not have 50 billion subs, but you’ll have a more dedicated viewer base, and there’s less copycats.

I don't know about the mass appeal ones but the ones I watch are usually really good, at something. If you can just do that and get some publicity that's 80% of the work done already.

Before some one can be a video content creator he/she needs to acquire the skill or have some one that is close to him who has knowledge of it that can be putting him/her through.

If you're creating video contents which are commonly published by many people, it won't bring you fame or success. Find a unique niche and start working on it. This will bring more viewers to your page.

Lots and lots of patience.

equipment for setup and consistent ideas for each daily broadcast. One must be versatile if planning to do more than just streaming gaming content... what do they call those, 'variety streamers'?
