What got you into Anime?

When I was about 6 my brothers turned on the TV and sat down with me to watch Naruto. The whole concept and everything about the show seemed great. From then on i was hooked.






What got you all into the greatness we know as Anime?
 
Toonami and DBZ on cartoon network...simple as that.

Well I must admit that I liked Sailor moon as well, but as a young boy at the time I could not help but feel my liking it was kinda wrong since its a girl oriented show lol.

I would always watch it in secret and when friends where around just turn it away until DBZ came on.
 
Although i watched Naruto when it first came on, i thought it was just an awesome quality cartoon, but a kid moved into my neighborhood who i started hanging out with, and the first day we met we sat in his living room, eating steak and watching Please Teacher! until i went home. First animei truely loved :') and then we watched Please Twins! which wasn't as good but still a pretty good show. i still havent watched all of the shows they own.. all are the complete series box sets too, except for a few.. god i cant even count how many they own...
