True it's likely the ancient robots died out after a while since they were dependant on the time shift stones and the Parallela supposedly evolved into Zoras, but what happened to the Kikwis or Mogmas? Don't think either evolved into a later Zelda species, so how come they're likely to be absent from any future games/weren't in the Zelda games set afterwards?

Honestly, a species that digs tunnels around ground saturated with magma is not likely to live long. Kikwis should have died out due to poor defense mechanisms, but I feel like they may have evolved into Deku Shrubs (though there was already a shrub-like Octorok in that game...).
