Tie between Clannad and wolf story if I recall right.

No anime has ever really made me cry. Clannad came close, but the anime that made me come ever closer to crying was Your Lie in April. I finished it with my friends earlier this year and boy that was a trip. I think I teared up, but no tears actually fell.

It's kind of impossible to say without spoiling the entire anime because the whole reason is when you figure out why it's called Your Lie in April. It kind of just sucker punches you in the heart.
