The electric guitar is my favorite musical instrument because it is easier to carry around with a guitar bag or box with handle. There are also portable battery powered amp speakers for it, so you can play the guitar outdoors as long as you have a charged battery.

The electronics on most electric guitars are simpler to repair. There is a pickup mic to pickup the vibrations from the guitar string and volume and tone knobs to adjust the pickup mic for better volume and tone. Replacing the electronics like the pickup mic, auxiliary port, wiring, volume and tone controls is simpler than repairing electrical instruments with a complicated circuit board in it like an electronic piano. The strings, neck, and body on a guitar are also easy to replace.

I also like the sound of electric guitars, and feel guitar music is generally more happy sounding compared to electronic piano and other electrical instruments which sound more serious, and depressing sometimes depending on what song is being played.

I do have a few that I enjoy listening to in Jpop songs, but I have no idea what their names are.

Jpop and Jrock have a lot of nice electronic instrument background music. I think a lot of the instruments are electronic guitars, bass electric guitars, synthesizer piano and drums.

There are some Japanese Acoustic Guitars which have a unique sound compared to American Guitars. I think Japanese Electric Guitars and Amp speakers are also higher quality than most non-Japanese made Guitars.
