Title and poll says it all, what gets your money and time?

Wii U, Ouya, and Steambox interest me most out of all the consoles listed.

Gamestick, Nvidia Shield, and Razer's Edge gaming tablet with Windows 8 and a controller case also look interesting.

I already own a PC which I use for gaming, and plan to get another Desktop PC if my current PC breaks.

I am also currently playing a lot of fun mobile games like CSR Racing, Mini Motor Racing, Dungeon Hunter 3-4, Plants vs Zombies, Flashout 3D, and many other fun games on my Google Android Nexus 7 tablet.

I may get an iPad, or iPod Touch as well to play exclusive iOS games which are not available on Android.

Most likely, I continue playing my Xbox 360, PC, Android games, and buy an Ouya and maybe an iOS device like iPad, or iPod Touch for gaming.

Ranking for the record:

1. PS4
2. Wii U
3. Ouya
4. Steambox

It depends on where P5 lands. I'll either go Wii U or PS4, but if I can, I'll get both. For development purposes, I plan on acquiring an Ouya and the cheapest Steambox possible.

I don't plan on getting another console, but if I had to choose...I would probably go with PS4. What really got me was...that Microsoft is going to require users to log on once every 24 hours, which can get annoying. Also, no more used games on the Xbox? Hopefully I misunderstood...but is there really going to be a fee to activate used games to be able to play it on my Xbox? Though....the one thing that does upset me a little is that if you want to play games online on PS4 you need to pay for PS+. At least it's only a subscription so if you don't want it...you don't have to pay for it. Plus, if you do subscribe for it...you get free games every once in a while and great deals at the PS store unlike Xbox Live where you pay just to have access.

Well I'm a PC gamer, but if I were to purchase any proper console, it would have to be the PS4. I like that it is a console that seemingly knows what it is, and aims to deliver mostly an emersive gaming experience, as apposed to the xbox one which seems more interested in spying on me in my living room.

PS4, but not immediately. Frankly, I don't feel like buying another console right now, but I guess that sooner or later it will be necessary. I've always been a Playstation fangirl, and also I don't like the idea of the Xbox One Kinect 2.0 thing - it is supposed to be connected all of the time and I have some concerns about my privacy. My boyfriend will probably still want an Xbox One though :pinch:

I recently read about the Madcatz Mojo Google Android console. I may get the Mojo since it is affordable at $99 or more, and I already have a small collection of games I bought from the Amazon App Store and Google Play which is compatible with the Mojo, so I do not need to re-buy the games on the Ouya app store.

Console wise definitely picking up a PS4, the Xbone doesn't really sound that great with it's online schnenegins and no used games.
However I'll proberbly be upgrading my PC soon because it's getting a bit outdated and as a primary PC gamer I can't have that happening.

Well I am a PC gamer at my core, so I am probably just going to save my money for another laptop when my current one conks out. But I when I was comparing the Xbox One versus the PS4, I think I am going to have to say the PS4. I don't like the fact that Microsoft has gone with not being able to share games with others, and having to log in once every 24 hours is kind of ridiculous (what If I go on Vacation!?). Plus, the PS4 is more affordable. But I don't think I will be buying a new PC or a PS4 within the near future as I just don't have that kind of money for all these expensive items. Honestly though, I want a flat screen and a PS4 , and a new living room  :pinch:.

The steambox is just a made up thing, right? There's no actual evidence of its existence yet, or am I wrong?

Right now I'm setting my sights on the PS4. Microsoft has convinced time and time again with their policies and agenda for the One that I do not want to buy their console and unless they shape up FAST I'm definitely going to send Sony my money. Sony trumps the Xbox on all accounts except for Kinect (which I have no interest in) and having a superior (imo) controller. I'll just have to make due with the Playstation controller, I suppose.

I heard the Steambox won't be made by Valve, but Valve will certify gaming computers made by other companies like Alienware, CyberPower PC, etc which are compatible with Steam for Linux, and Steambox. You can make your own Steambox all you need is a powerful Windows or Linux computer which can play games from Steam, and use Steam's big picture mode on the latest Steam client to make gaming with a controller possible while your PC is plugged into an HDTV.

I already have a Wii U and Ouya, and my PC is fairly recent, so I'm not sure whether I will get a PS4 just yet. Maybe in a few years. I know I definitely will not be supporting XBone.

Steambox is tempting but who knows when that could be released.

You are wrong.

Even though I've owned Xbox and Xbox 360 in the past two generations, I will be switching to PlayStation 4 this time thanks to Microsoft. I'm mainly a PC gamer but I'm looking forward to the PlayStation 4 exclusives this time. I don't think I will be getting the console right away though, probably gonna wait half a year or a year before getting it, so the prices drop a little. Stuff is always too expensive when they first come out.

Well I guess I'm going back to being a "sony boy' this generation around.

I was a fan of Sony during the PS2 era and supported it but switched over to Xbox 360 when I found out that the PS3 price would be so high.

But now given Microsoft's new adopted policeis I will support Sony by getting the PS4 first.

Whether I get the others on down the road depends on whether games I'm interested in come out solely for those consoles.

I already have a PC so I voted for that and Wii U. Wii U has all the crazy exclusives I want like Monster Hunter, Bayonetta 2, and Smash. PC has everything else!

If the quality of the console is anything like the controllers they make it'd be pretty shoddy.

Anyway, PS4 for me! If I have the money that is! Perhaps WiiU but only in a year or so's time after the price has dropped.

I'll be purchasing the PlayStation 4 first, however I will not be getting it on the launch date.  I will wait a few months to ensure some of the bugs seen in launch day systems are worked out, and who knows maybe get a price drop in the process.  Also,  Ii's not that Sony has impressed or astounded me with their console.  It's more Microsoft has been so bad in how they have handled the situation.  There's many people that feel the same way.  Microsoft has essentially turned their back on their customer base and is marketing the Xbox One as an entertainment device with gaming second.  I read that one of their main devs even let this be known.

Also, I will eventually get a Wii U.  I can't imagine staying away from some of the first party Nintendo titles another generation.  A part of me wishes Nintendo would just give up consoles and become a developer.  The guys over there have too much pride for that though.

Dude, you literally only need to put the games on your SD card to run them on Ouya. :/
