Over at Paid Content you can check out the results from a survey that was conducted by Needham & Co. analyst Laura Martin which requested participants to "Please list which TV channels you must have available online for you to turn off your TV subscription."
Yeah, the results are fairly typical, although it was pointed out that many of the people who voted for one of the "Big Four" major networks as number one wrote in "All of Them," somewhat indicating that those who mostly watch network TV watch all the networks and that none of the major networks have a real, distinguishable brand or identity. It's also worth noting that although HBO placed "7th", it's in less than 1/3rd of the homes that carry ESPN, Discovery and History, thus making its placement quite impressive.

I truly hope that the tv channels do not all go to the internet. as cable tv is more reliable then internet streaming.
