What was missing from E3?

Now that this years E3 is over, is there any title or feature that you were expecting to be released or hoping to be in development that wasn't mentioned or displayed?
 
I was expecting Nintendo to announce a Pokemon Generation 1 (Kanto) remake.
I don't know why, but before the Nintendo show started, I had a really huge feeling that they'd announce it, and I was really really hyped.
I was also expecting them to announce something about their new console, the NX. They had said before that they'd keep hush hush on it until 2016 but I hoped E3 would give us some new information.
But it all ended with disappointment. :(
 
Anything to do with future system updates from Sony for the PS4. I expected to see something along the lines of a upcoming system update that added some cool new features. 
 
I was hoping to see something of Gran Turismo 7 but it seems it was just rumors going around.

I know there is going to be a Gran Turismo 7, but it seems it was just rumors that we were going to hear or see anything of it at E3.
