What was your first Final Fantasy RPG game?

The first Final Fantasy I played was Final Fantasy 8 for the Playstation 1.

Hmmmm, I want to say Final fantasy on the NES, but the only one I can remember playing was FF 3 (FF6).

For the classics I recommend 2, 4, 6, 7 and 9 to be played first.

Final Fantasy IV Advance for the GBA. It's still my favourite.

The original FF that came out in the summer of 1990 for the NES. And I beat that one in 2 days with no sleep and a strategy guide. I beat it 3 times since then every few years later. I beleive there was never an American release of 2 and 3, as we did get 4 and 5 but they were renumbered 2 and 3. Something along that line.

I believe we got FF 1 and 2, 6 was made three and then sometime later we did get 4 but never 5 till the PS1.
