I mainly use forums, my own sites to keep in touch with people, but I sometimes use social sites. I check my e-mail once a day. I never make videos to keep in touch with people since I don't have a great voice.

I use facebook to keep in touch with a few friends.
Book face (that's how it translates in chinese by the way and what my friends and I call it). I joined recently and keep in touch through book face, it's pretty fun as well. With my friends who don't I just mainly call them since they then normally don't have net access.
