What would the gaming industry be like in the future?

Very slow due to games taking forever to make.
 
I feel games maybe more expensive to make and buy in the future because more video games would have higher video resolution 4K graphics, and may have larger levels and maps which cost more time, effort and money to make.

I do see it getting more and more expensive as the gaming industry progress'. Video games have come along way since the first console I had and that was the NES.
 
I fee; there may also be more free-to-play games like Fortnite in the future since people do like playing Free-to-play games which you can also buy paid characters and DLC for your paid games.
 
The time in-between games will definitely start to increase especially for the developers that actually care about their games. So most of us can start to expect games like GTA to have 10-15 year gaps between them :(
