So yeah. One day a law was passed throughout the world making playing any type of video games illegal. Apparently they thought playing video games is sort of like taking drugs and becoming addicted >.<
We actually have something like that going on right now, it's called TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) and would limit intellectual property which would affect gaming and anime alike. It wouldn't outright ban video games but its not like you can do more with it after you're done playing the game (like making stories or pictures based on the game or possibly have a forum on it.)
But yeah, to your question I wouldn't be happy. I do need games to relax and kill sometime in the day.
I wouldn't be happy as well since I play games when I am bored and to relax.
I would write a letter to the government asking them to make video games legal again, and sign petitions to make video games legal again.
I probably try other hobbies like board games, card games like Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-Gi-Oh, and remote control toys like drones, cars and planes , so I wouldn't be as bored because there is nothing to play.
Some video games are illegal in certain countries. I heard that Minecraft was banned in Turkey last year, and also Australia banned some video games for being too violent.
There's quite a few restrictions going around harming the experience already (Nintendo + youtube?). Can't imagine an unjust law is something I'd put up with.
Keep playing them, and tell anyone else to do their worst. There are already a few things I'm involved with that are somewhat questionable, this would just be another example.
I would just have to find other things to do. Luckily, I enjoy reading and would be able to use that to keep myself entertained. Now, if they made reading illegal then I'd be in trouble.
How illegal are we talking here?? FBI raiding the block over a Fallout session or just a slowly applied pressure to stop playing?? Either way...I think I'd adjust to it and probably be a whole hell of a lot more productive with my life overall. I guess that's a sad statement eh?
