Pre ordering video games is something that you do with a leap of faith. My friend's call it gaming purchase gambling because it can go both ways - good or bad. I had a very good experience with pre ordering The Last Of Us Part 1 and 2 but after my experience with Cyberpunk 2077, I called it quits to pre ordering games.

I never do. It's better to wait to see if the game is of actual quality or even for a sale. The freebies aren't worth it.
I learnt it the hard way with how everything went down with Cyberpunk 2077. It was a horror show.

Kingdom Hearts? KH4 really needs to wow for me to restore faith in the series. Final Fantasy as well.

Slow climb from FF 12 and upward. 16 may renew my faith though.
If Square Enix gives the FF16 the commitment it deserves in developing it, it's going to be good.

Yeah, that's true. I always take them with a pinch of salt until the game comes out officially.
