I can remember when I was still a teenager playing on my Sega Genesis, I had this game - The Punisher. I would play the game for more than 6 hours straight no break apart from bathroom breaks. I can't remember playing any games recently for such long hours.

Final fantasy 6, 7 and 9 along with Goldeneye and Perfect dark back in the day, it was all there was to play.
Goldeneye is the best 007 game that I have played. I can't think of anyone better.
You missed out a lot of other excellent old days JRPGs.
Yes Chrono Trigger was really creative especially during the SNES era with the story and ending possibilities.

You can actually still play some of them now I suppose..I knowgod I wasted time on pointless side brawling games when I could have had awesome JRPG games, damn my young self for not looking at games better.

I spent over 5 hours or more playing Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and different racing games.
I just took on playing Grid Legends last night. I was surprised to put in 3 hours of play no break.
