Hey there everyone, I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'd reckon it's a dead thread now.
So, looking for some fresh news!  What's everybody's favourite anime, and bonus question, why?

Never been much of a fan of say Naruto or the bigger anime.  For me, I'd say my favourite anime would be either Hellsing, or Nichijou.  Both have some of the best moments I've ever seen in an anime!

I have a lot of favorites, but some recent ones is Fairy Tail, food wars and the fate stay night new anime series.

My favorite anime has to be Fate Zero. As a lover of swords and medieval tales, Fate Zero has the perfect cast of characters, from "King Arthur" (Saber/Arturia) to Alexander the Great (Rider/Iskander) to Diarmid (Lancer). It does start off a bit slow at first while trying to cover a large cast of characters, but it is relatively easy to become obsessed with after that shaky first episode.

My top favorite..would probably have to be.. It's honestly between Death Note or Da Capo. And I know these are complete opposites of each other :p I'm mostly into the girly-type anime shows so the only reason I saw Death Note is because someone else got me into it. I really loved it. I really love Da Capo though, as well. It just really sucked me in and it's super cute and entertaining.

My favorite at the time (might change with future seasons!) is one that I think is very very underrated: Kyousougiga. I don't know a lot of other people that have watched it, but I think it's just amazing! Deals with a lot of family themes and generally makes me feel a lot of things.

Still... I recently watched FMA: Brotherhood and that was very very amazing. One Piece was my second favorite, but it was probably topped by Brotherhood.

Kyousougiga stays strong, though! I must say the main reason I like it so much is probably how colorful the world is.

Oh oh!  You should really check out Lucky star, princess Jellyfish, K-on, Madoka or Nichijou if you haven't already!!

First of all, your profile is absolutely adorable!  I love Cirno so much!
FMA: Brotherhood was fantastic.  One of the best anime I've watched in terms of keeping me interested in the story.    I'm afraid I haven't watched Kyousougiga though!

I have to many to name, top 3 off the top of my head are Dragon Ball Z,Cowboy Bebop, and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

For my first favorite/top anime recommendation is Ranma 1/2. Ranma has the perfect blend of comedy, martial arts and romance. A very diverse cast of characters that will definitely entertain you with their antics. I like to consider Ranma a fun tongue in cheek anime, it doesn't usually take itself seriously.

My second favorite/top anime recommendation is Cowboy Bebop. This anime was great from start to finish, the intro alone hooks a lot of people onto this anime. A brilliant storyline about bounty hunters and the troubles they get into will definitely keep someone entertained and I think its a good first time anime watcher anime.

My third favorite/top anime recommendation is Samurai X / Rurouni Kenshin. I prefer the OVA's to the anime itself but the OVA is beautifully animated. This one is just a brutally awesome samurai anime, very goery in the OVAs with a dramatic storyline. I find this one to be quite popular, and who doesn't love samurai anyway?

My favourite anime is Dragon Ball. I grew up with it and still don't get tired of watching it again and again. I've watched the Japanese Dub, the Funimation Dub and the Ocean Dub. Catching up on DBKAI right now. The nostalgia is just too much!
Another anime that I got really close to recently is Psycho-Pass. It made me rethink about quite a lot of things! I'd suggest Psycho-Pass to everyone who likes rattling their brains while watching anime! Especially those people who are big fans of Death Note and Code Geass!

I used to love dragonball when I was younger!  No idea if Kai is any good, haven't had the time to watch it.  Does it go past the Majin Buu arc?

This is my favourite Anime of all time. It tells the real story of The little mermaid that Disney couldn't. It is very sad and deep.

Eee! I love blue, so Cirno's a natural favorite! I'm actually going to be cosplaying her pretty soon~!
Yeah, what really kept me going with Brotherhood is how fast everything happens, especially in comparison to the original FMA. They get a lot more done in a lot less time, which makes it easier to digest in general.

Oh wow.  I've always wanted to cosplay her!  My next cosplay is Tewi though, so maybe in the future!
