PART 1: MARIO
--------------------------------

Mario walked up to the castle doors, as they opened by themselves, ominously. He walked in. He immediately saw two things: Bowser, on his huge throne, and Princess Peach, locked away in a cage by his side. Bowser jumped off his throne as soon as he spotted Mario. Mario balled up his fists. "Seriously, Bowser! Why? Why do you always do this? Everytime? It makes no sense! Do you love her or something? Do you just like annoying the heck out of me?"
Bowser chortled with glee. "You can be so thick, sometimes, Mario. This isn't about you or Peach anymore. It's part of something bigger this time. Better. Something you wouldn't understand."
"What do you mean, not understand?"
"You don't even want to know."
Bowser pressed a big red button on a remote he held in his hand. A cage dropped from the sky and fell on Mario. Mario grabbed the bars of the cage and started to yell. Bowser laughed even more maniacal than before. "Ha! Now, you insufferable little pest, I shall be done with you!"
Mario smiled knowingly. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a big orange mushroom with red dots. "Joke's on you, Bowser. I got a little something to help me here. It's called a mega mushroom. Now you're in mega trouble!"
Bowser laughed louder than ever before. "Oh, you and your stupid mushrooms. GANONDORF! I NEED A LITTLE HELP HERE!" he called out. A strange man with kind of grey skin and orange hair walked out from behind the throne. Mario began the raise the mushroom to his mouth, but the man raised his hand, and purple light shot out of it, and the mushroom exploded all over the cage. "Don't even try," Bowser snarled. He grabbed Mario's cage and dragged it over to Peach's cage. Then, Mario noticed a swirl of purple on the chair. The man with the orange hair, apparently named Ganondorf, picked up their cages, and then he tossed them into the purple swirling vortex. "Welcome to Hyrule," he laughed.

Wow, I love it awesome job Randommonia, Mario in Hyrule lol, can't wait to see were this is going.

The world was spinning around Mario. There was purple everywhere, and he starting to feel like he was going to puke. Then, all of a sudden, the purple cleared and he was in a grassy field. He had no idea exactly where he was. There were trees around, although not too many, and a few bushes as well. He got up, and walked through the field until he got to a wall. He kept walking along the wall until he found an opening. He entered. He kept walking up a path until he got to a wide open space with a fence enclosing an area. He spotted a girl inside the area. He walked towards the fenced off area, and found an opening that he walked into. When the girl saw him, she gasped. "Oh, my!" she exclaimed. "That certainly is an outfit you've got on there. Where are you from?"
Mario kind of took offense to the the girl's comment about his outfit, but he just cringed and answered her. "Ummm...the Mushroom Kingdom."
The girl cocked her head to the side, and a puzzled look appeared on her face. "Is that anywhere near Kokiri Forest, perhaps? Or maybe Zora's River? You said it was a kingdom. I'm not really aware of any other kingdoms. Do you know of Hyrule Castle?"
A lightbulb went off in Mario's head. Ganondorf had mentioned the name Hyrule, too. "Wait a second," said Mario, "do you know a man with greyish skin and orange hair called Ganondorf?"
The girl's face instantly looked fearful. "He's the king of the Gerudos, who live in the desert. He's dead. Why do you want to know about him?"
Mario was puzzled. He had seen Ganondorf not just 20 minutes ago. He put this thought in the back of his head. "Just wondering. Hey, what's the fastest way to get to the desert?"
"You can't really get to the Gerudos. The bridge is demolished. You'd need super jumping abilities, or maybe a hookshot, like...*sigh*...Link has."
"Wait, who is this Link guy?"
"Oh, he's this really awesome guy who saved us all from Ganondorf."
"Where could I find him?"
"Check his house in Kokiri Forest."
"Okaaaayyy....where the heck is that?"
"Just go southeast from here. There's a huge tree near an opening in the rocky wall. Go in there and you should reach the Kokiri Forest."
"Thanks. By the way, what's your name?"
"Oh. *giggle* Malon. Come back if you ever need any fresh Lon Lon Milk!"
"I...erm..will. Bye!" Mario left the fenced enclosure and went through the passage back out to the field. Only then did Mario realize he had no idea which way southwest was. He headed a random direction. Eventually, he came to a huge castle with a moat. The bridge was lowered. He COULD have tried to find Kokiri Forest, but this castle peaked his interest too much. He walked over the bridge and found himself in a lively town. He walked up a path in the town until he got to another huge building. He opened the doors, and peeked in. The image he saw was more horrible than he could have ever imagined. In the gigantic room, there was a pedestal at the front, but that wasn't the horrifying part. In another part of the room, there were five figures talking: Bowser, Ganondorf, a strange dragon thing, a fat penguin with a hammer, and a giant monkey head. Mario found the fact that there was a giant monkey head with them quite amusing, until he heard it speak.
"Fox McCloud will soon be with his father, along with that repulsive toad, annoying bird, and fat, ugly rabbit." the giant monkey head said.
"Kirby's not getting anywhere soon, that's for sure," the fat penguin said.
"Samus is trapped. No way she's getting out of what I trapped her in." the huge dragon thing said, while flapping its wings.
"And of course, Link is still asleep in the Lost Woods. Why wouldn't he be? I trapped him in a part of the woods that you can get into, but not out, plus I gave him some 'magic powder' to put in his Lon Lon Milk. What a stupid fool!"
"Good, good..." said Bowser. "Now all we have to do is-" Bowser stopped talking, and then locked eyes with Mario.

Heh, this is exciting now. At first I thought it was just a Zelda/Mario crossover, but now it's literally a whole bunch of Nintendo worlds!

"MARIO!" Bowser yelled. He ran to the door. Mario ran and hid by four stones in a row. He saw Bowser run out. "C'MON, YOU CHUMPS! WHAT'RE YA JUST STANDIN AROUND FOR? GET YOUR LAZY BUTTS OUT HERE AND SEARCH FOR THAT MORON!" Mario saw Ganondorf, the penguin, and the dragon come out. The monkey head must have not believed Bowser. He was sure he was about to be discovered, when all of a sudden he heard a "Hey!" by his ear which made him jump, though not enough to be spotted. The thing said "Hey!" again, this time louder. "Who're you hiding from, huh?" the thing said. Mario turned around and saw a small blue ball of light with wings.
"What the heck are you?" he asked.
"A fairy. Hey, what are those guys doing? Are you playing hide and seek? Although they look kind of scary, they.....meep!"
"What?" Mario asked. "what is it?"
"It's Ganondorf! I thought me and Link killed him! No wonder Link can't get up! It must have been that nasty Ganondorf! You've got to help me find him!"
The fairy had mentioned Link. Ganondorf and Malon had also mentioned his name, so he figured that this Link must be a pretty popular guy. He also knew Link might be his way out of this predicament. "Where's Link? Take me to him, but don't let these guys see me!" The fairy took him through a path of concealing trees. Eventually they got to an archway that led into a gigantic rock.
"What is this?" asked Mario.
"It's another way into the Lost Woods, where Link is. Pretty much everywhere in Hyrule has an entrance to the Lost Woods close by."
The fairy led Mario through the arch. When he got through, he found himself surrounded by trees. Mario gaped in awe. "Come in here!" the fairy said, leading him into an opening in the trees. As he went through the opening, he immediately saw a young boy sleeping in the middle of the clearing. He was wearing a green cap on his head, with green clothes on the rest of his body. "Link...." the fairy whispered.
Mario figured it would be pretty easy. It wasn't too hard, but he had to try. Eventually he just jumped on him. He then realized he couldn't jump at all as high as he could before. He felt like someone was pushing down on him with invisible hands. Either way, Link woke up.
"Um...num...num..shut up, Na'vi..." he spoke.
"Hey! Link! Wake up! Wake up! WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP!"
"Gaaah! Na'vi! What the heck? Who's that?" he said, pointing at Mario.
"Some guy I met! He helped me wake you up."
"Oh, well, thanks anyway. I don't know what happened. I turn around for a minute, turn back, drink some Lon Lon Milk, and then I'm asleep and having terrible nightmares. By the way, what's your name?"
"Mario," Mario replied.
"Funny," Link said. "I swore I've heard that name before. By the way, got any idea how we're getting out of here?"
Mario went blank. He had never even thought of that. He was afraid he was going to be trapped in there with Link until he starved to death, until he thought of something and smiled. He reached into his overalls' pocket and pulled out...a winged cap. He stuck it on his head, and reached out his hand. "C'mon," said Mario, "grab my hand, and if you value your life, don't let go." Link grabbed his hand, and they flew off over the trees.

I like how you included other Nintendo game characters in the second chapter, so far it's a really good story, can't wait for the next chapter!

Mario and Link touched down on the ground right outside the entrance to the Lost Woods in Kokiri Forest.
"Well, that was fun," laughed Link.
"Well, I do that all the time. Here, take this." Mario handed him the winged cap.
"Seriously? You're giving me this?"
"Hey, I have all kinds of crap in my pockets. I need to empty them every once in a while."
"Ha, well, whatever. So, what do we do now...?"
"Hey Link!" Na'vi broke in. "Ganondorf's not dead! And he's conspiring with a big turtle thing, and a big spiky dragon, and a big penguin with a hammer-"
"WHAT?!" Link shouted. "Ganondorf's not dead?! Well, then, no wonder I couldn't get up."
"Yeah." agreed Mario. "So, anyway, what I think is that we should go find the other people."
Link raised his eyebrow. "What other people?"
"I overheard Bowser talking to all those other guys."
"Who's that?"
"Oh, some bad guy from my dimension."
"DIMENSION? You're from another dimension?"
"Well, yeah, I guess you could call it that. Anyway, Bowser started talking with all of them about how they captured some other people. My guess is, they're from other dimensions, too. And if there are other villains from other dimensions, there's got to be other HEROES in other dimensions."
"So, basically, we've gotta avoid a big dragon thing, this Bowser guy, Ganondorf, and a fat penguin with a hammer."
"And a giant monkey head."
"Yeah, that too- wait, WHAT?! A GIANT MONKEY HEAD? Well, he's gotta be from one screwed up dimension."
"Agreed."
"Anyways, we've gotta avoid them all, while trying to rescue other people."
"Yeah."
"Well, that's great. How do we even get to their dimensions?"
A thought clicked into Mario's head. "A purple portal! That's how! Link, have you seen any purple swirly things?"
"Yeah, one just randomly appeared in my room one day, but I was too afraid to touch it."
"Well then, lead us to your house. We've got another hero to save."
As they walked to Link's house, Mario and Link had a small conversation.
"How do you get here?" asked Link.
"I got thrown through a portal and ended up in a field."
"Well, then maybe..." Link's eyes lit up. "Every dimension has a portal to all the different dimensions!"
"Then that would mean Bowser's Castle had one, that went to Hyrule. Maybe if we go back through that portal we could find all the rest of the portals."
"Well, you never know. It might be easier to find portals in whatever dimension we're going to."
Mario climbed up the ladder first, and then Link did. When they got into the house, they stared at the purple swirl.
"So this is a portal, huh?" asked Link.
"Yep." replied Mario.
"Then let's go."
They both leaned back, and then simultaneously jumped into the portal.

I hope you guys appreciate how much I love you by doing this. Nah, I don't care if I get praise. This is actually really fun. Even I'm wondering what's gonna happen next! (Seriously. I've got a basic plan, but other than that, I'm just winging it.)
