A worrying number of americans think they can beat a lion/bear/gorilla/elephant in a fist fight. I hope they get the chance to test their theory.

It says they surveyed 1224 people from the US, so >10% on each of the things you listed out of 1224 isn’t exactly a worrying number.

Also the Darwin Awards exist for those people.

Before seeing the results, If you were told about this survey, how many would you guess said 'yes I can beat those 4 animals'?
I would say 0.1-0.01%.
Now compare with the actual results. It's straight up 2-3 orders of magnitude different.
Too bad there's not more countries polled then we'd see what the trends are.

I still don’t see it as a worrying number. Like yeah, there’s a bunch of dumbasses out there, and I would pay to see an unarmed man fight a grizzly bear

Pretty sure an angry house cat could take anyone, lol.

I wonder if some of the people, who answer this survey, think they can beat up a Grizzly bear by using their martial arts or fighting sports skills which they practiced for many years.

I was reading that the kangaroo foot claw is larger than the velociraptor claw.

Also which species of elephant? The African ones are way bigger than the thai ones.
