Which Super Mario games have you yourself actually played, and which are in your Top 5 (and why)?

Now by Super Mario games, I mean only the following (NOT Mario Kart or Mario Sports games or Paper Mario etc. etc.).

I haven't played them all, of course, but out of the ones I have played, I would say:

1. Super Mario World
2. Super Mario 3D Land
3. New Super Mario Bros. (for the DS)
4. New Super Mario Bros. (for Wii)
5. Super Mario 64 (for the DS)

Oh how many wonderful hours I have spent playing these games...

Super Mario World is the first Super Mario game that I finished! Wow, the memories. Good times!
 
And I don't have the time to play all the games, as much as I would like to!

But the thing that concerns me a little is that these games go out of print after a few years. So if I neglect to get one of these games (Mario, Zelda, or whatever), I may never be able to play them... although with the advent of Nintendo EShop and Virtual Console etc. it's not so bad as it used to be.

So I try to get every Mario and Zelda game (as well as the "big" Nintendo titles) as soon as they are released, even though I might not play them all right away.

As to Mario Kart: I myself prefer the Mario Kart: Super Circuit (for the GBA) over Mario Kart DS. But I am probably in the minority here... and maybe it's got to do with nostalgia. Super Circuit is the first Mario Kart game that I owned and played!

Still, Mario Kart 7 is my favorite so far.

Well here's my other lists too then.

For Mario Kart:
1. Mario Kart Wii

4. Mario Kart DS

I only own 4 Mario Karts and I only like the first 3.

For other spinoffs:

1. Yoshi's Story
2. Paper Mario
3. Luigi's Mansion
4. Mario Party 7 (I liked the single player cruise ship and that's like the only reason why.)
5. Super Paper Mario

I didn't put Mario and Luigi games because I only played the first 2 in the series.

Also the other spinoff games has no real order because I couldn't think of a good order because I never thought about an order for them.
