Which do you prefer: B button to attack and A button to Jump, or the other way around?

For applicable games (Like Mario and Zelda)
I prefer using the B button as my attack button, and the A button for jumping!
What about you?

Depends on the controller, I think I like B to attack (most common) with A to jump.

Definitely would prefer the traditional controller layout where A is used for jumping and then B for attacks. Just would feel a bit weird using A for attacking.

If 2D then I want Up to jump. If 3D/top-down then odds are there are plenty of buttons to choose from. Because this is a Nintendo thread I say A is jump. B Button is an attack command. I think the more convenient option or the button used the most goes on the outside so you aren't reaching every time for the input you want the fastest.

I could never do d-pad or joystick for jump, never felt right.
