Which game series has the best soundtrack?

I'm personally gonna go with the Final Fantasy series. Every game, the music pretty damn fantastic.

It's a tie between Legend of Zelda and Mother. It's impossible to chose. Zelda has epic music that makes you feel like your on an adventure and most music fits the atmosphere like the Shadow Temple music and all that. The Mother series though has a quirky soundtrack that's nearly impossible to not enjoy at least one song.
 
I'd say 'The Legend of Zelda' series has the best music ^^ This is followed second by Fire Emblem, though I've only played 'Awakening' meaning I don't know if the rest of the series is as good as 'Awakening' with music >.>

i think i would have to agree with this. i'm not always partial to a game's soundtrack and sometimes i don't pay as much attention to it as i possibly should, but i really love the music in final fantasy games.
 
Yeah, pretty much every Zelda game I've played, I have enjoyed its music. I also like Kirby soundtracks, because they fit the atmosphere of every level so well.

Of the games I am currently playing, I love Bastion's soundtrack. It has a great combination of drums and guitar in most of the tracks. This isn't one of my favorites, but this is probably the most iconic in the game:

I'd say The Legend of Zelda has the best soundtracks.It always fits the scene,and it's easy to remember.But the most mermorable has to be the Ocarina of Time soundtrack.
 
Well I would have to go with The Legend of Zelda. I absolutly love the music in those games and it is some of my favorite music in general. I especialy enjoy the music in the Wind Waker, Skyward Sword, Twilight Princess, and Ocarina of Time.
 
I like the music from the Final Fantasy games too. Also the battle music in all Pokemon games are pretty good too.
 
Technically not a series, but Xenoblade Chronicles has a wonderful soundtrack!
Minecraft has some nice music to :p


Yeah, Minecraft has quite relaxing music, though it's not something I'd personally choose to listen to >.<

The Okami series (well it's not really a series since there are only two games, but...) has an amazing soundtrack.

Okami: The Sun Rises, Reset (Thank You), Dragon Palace, Ryoshima Coast, Sacrificial Arrow, Ushiwaka's Appearance, Giving Kushinanda a Ride, Wep'keer, The Continuing Journey, Theme of the Moon Tribe, etc.

Okamiden: Demon Market, 5-Story Pagoda, Thundercloud, Kurow Loses Faith, Underground Ruins, Preparing for Action, Yakushi Village, The Goryeo, etc.

The Persona series also has an amazing soundtrack (well, I only played/watched Persona 3 and 4).

Persona 3: Living with Determination-Iwatodai Station, Memories of the City, The Poem for Everyone's Souls, The Battle for Everyone's Souls, etc.

Persona 4: Like a Dream Come True, Backside of the TV, Your Affection, Reach Out for the Truth, I'll Face Myself, etc.

The Paper Mario series, the Pokémon series, the Fire Emblem series (only played Sacred Stones and Awakening, but Awakening's soundtrack was a masterpiece), the Zelda series, the Mario series, the Metroid series and the Kirby series also have very good soundtracks.

I can't even narrow it down, lots of games have great music. Bioshock's creepy tunes nail it's atmosphere. Zelda has wonderful music that makes you forget your roaming an empty field sometimes haha. Pokemon and Final Fantasy have really catchy tunes.

There's too much good music to narrow it down @_@

I really don't remember the music in Bioshock! D: I'm gonna give it a listen now :D
 
Well, I like beatstomper sound tracks a lot.
Especially the apocalypse sound track is just awesome. I have downloaded all those tracks in my phone as well as in my PC.
