Which Nintendo 3DS XL color should I get?

Anyway, I understand it will initially come in three colors: BLUE, RED, and SILVER.

Which is the best, do you think? I already have the white 3DS, I am thinking of going for the SILVER one (although BLUE is also nice). Silver looks somehow more precious and valuable, don't you think?

Probably. The 3ds is already bigger than the dsi. The 3ds XL is 90% larger than the 3ds. I believe the dsi XL is like 80%

The 3DS XL is not a replacement, as the DS Lite was to the original DS. It does not work as a replacement. It is simply another version to be sold alongside the original, to add more choice, as the DSi XL was to the DSi.

In an age where electronics are getting smaller and smaller (and rightly so in my opinion), I don't see why Nintendo keeps making their portable systems bigger. I remember seeing a dsixl in an airport once and thinking that's got to be the ugliest electronic in the entire airport.

I always prefered to have larger screens, no matter what device it is (mobile phones, laptops, TVs..), so I don't see how making a larger version is bad.. It might be a bit tall, but oh well..

I'll probably get a blue 3DS XL. It looks way better than the others. Silver is ugly.
