Which of the conventionally popular animes do you not find all that interesting or just can't seem to get into?

I know I've had people push and push me to watch or read One Piece because I enjoy Naruto, but I couldn't for the life of me stick to it. Cowboy Bebop had virtually no appeal to me whatsoever for a multiple of reasons, but everyone thinks I'm crazy for not absolutely loving it.

How about you guys?

I do like one piece, but not to the point the others love it.

Well, typically I don't really like popular shows. Not because they are popular, but rather so that I seem to have different tastes compared to the "general mass".

Examples are as follows:

Attack On Titan: Too much action, too little story. Boring.
Soul Eater: Boring, annoying characters.
Hellsing Ultimate: Victoria is super-stupid/stereotypical bimbo-woman for more than half the show. Uninteresting battles. Too much unnecesary talking (I mean really... I generally like dialogue... But come on... There were literally "dialogues" in fights where they could be repeating the same sentence over and over again for no particular reason, and it annoyed the crap out of me. Not to talk about the annoyingly long speeches that had no substance whatsoever)

There are probably others aswell, but I can't come up with any others from the tip of my head.

Cowboy Bebop is one. I think it's cool, if that's your type of anime, but it isn't my type. I only watched maybe three episodes but it was a bit boring to me.

Steins;Gate is another. It's very popular and yet people admit the start is slow and you have to watch through something like ten episodes just to get to the good part. I watched two episodes and got bored. I don't want to force myself through five hours of anime just to start enjoying it, especially if it's a short anime anyways.

Death Note. It tries hard to be "cool" by being too overdramatic with camera angles and the detective portion isn't really that great. A few of the concepts like "Shinigami eyes" and the notebook itself were interesting, but the plot became just two teenagers metaphorically playing chess.

One of the more "popular" series I tried to get into was Bleach. I tried, really. I took time at Barnes & Nobles to sit down and read the manga, but I couldn't finish the first book. I had seen parts of the anime on Adult Swim, but it didn't interest me. I'm just not into that kind of show where it's constantly an on-going action-y battle.

I actually thought I would not like one piece given his lame run on WB and Cartoon netowork many years ago.

But a year ago I finally gave it a shot and absolutely loved it, it was MUCH better and more mature when it was not heavily censored for kids which was the version I initially was not interested in.

But as far as the topics question goes, I just can't get into Fate Zero and Panty and Stocking.
