Whiny Musicians.

How come so many newer musicians are always complaining about how things like Limewire are hurting their revenue?

'Tis because they suck.

Honestly, a good band (or artist) can make a happy living on gig money (i.e. money from live shows), not what some 13-year-old girl downloads of their latest album on iTunes! Not that many of them have any taste, at all....

It shouldn't matter what the album sales of a band (physical or otherwise) contribute to their pockets anyways! If they're actually good live, people will shell out to go to their shows, enjoy them and then, maybe, just maybe, buy the album at a show.

One of the main reasons I think they whine because some musicians are also actors, or work in TV so they can only tour once a year, so most of their music revenue comes from Album sales like Will Smith who was on the "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" and Men in Black 1&2, so they can only go on tour when they are not working on a movie, or TV show.
