White Vita on Sale Now

The gorgeous white PlayStation Vita, previously only available as a standalone unit in Japan, has very quietly turned up for sale online in the US. No press releases from Sony, no announcement, nothing.

The unit has been available in the US before, as part of the Assassin's Creed Liberation pack, but this is the first time it's been on sale by itself.

It's $199. Even if you're not a lover of white hardware, the colour has practical applications: the black models are the worst for fingerprints.

Looks snazzy, too bad I already have a Vita.

Indeed it looks nice. I won't be buying one either simply because I already own a black Vita (which, I still think looks nicer anyway).

I think having a white handheld would be bad as the dirt will show right up.
