Who still watches anime?

I don't know. After a while of watching anime you can pretty much predict the whole story.

1.Starts off in Highschool.
2.Boy likes girl.
3.Girl likes popular guy
4.Boy gets girl
5.Boobs
6.Ass
7.Blood
8.Deaths
9.Fighting
10.Boy saves world or someone.

Woopdeedoo. Once you think about it. Anime gets stale after you watch a few shows. @_@
 
only anime I watched that matches that list is high school of the dead.

but I will admit it does get to be the same old thing. But I watch anime for the action scenes and good characters.
 
The same can be said about games, movies and TV shows.
I've watched over 2000 anime episodes (Not counting the Dragon Ball and Pokemon series) and at some point you learn to appreciate the unique points of each anime, how the story develops, the personality of the characters, the soundtrack, the action scenes and the animation. For that reason i don't limit myself to a couple of genres (i watch everything except sports series tbh)

What i mean is that 2 anime series might fit the 10 descriptions above, but for some reason you might enjoy one more than the other.
 
There's plenty of veriety in anime, what the heck are you watching PandahFish? lol I can't even think of a single anime that fits that "predictable plot" exactly, and even with that, half of your list has nothing to do with a plot anyway.
 
Pokemon barely fits the list, only a few of the points. Closest one is Bleach (never watched Kenichi so idk about it), and it doesn't fit the list completely. And in some of them its actually the girls that save everyone :p

Try different genres, here are a few recommendations:

Comedy: School Rumble
Horror: Ghost Hunt
Mystery: Another
Mystery solving/Detective: Gosick
Music: K-ON!
Mecha: Gundam Seed/Seed Destiny/00
Sci-Fi: Steins;Gate

Horror: Gants
Mystery: Another
Mystery solving/Detective: Case Closed
Music: Uverworld
Mecha: Gurren Lagann
Sci-Fi: Ghost in the Shell

By Music i meant anime with a music theme :p I love UVERworld though, and Gantz is awesome, just not really a horror, Ghost hunt is the only anime that really fits the Horror category to me :grin:

except naruto.... that seems normal enough...
ok and vampire knight....
and theres a new one im going to watch..

but do u get my drift?
i dont watch anime because i dont want to end up watching porn.

Go watch some Naruto. It's really the other way around - Hinata likes Naruto but Naruto likes Sakura.
Anyway, Rosario+Vampire sucks. I hate anime when the guy bleeds blood everytime a girl touches him.

Also, I've seen a few more anime that's not related to what you've said.. I'd list some, but their names are.. well, you know (long, Japanese....)
Maybe Fate Stay Night (high school) and Fate Zero (no high school - big people fighting a war) you'll enjoy.

Heck, I don't really watch highschool animes.. (well, if it's one of the main points)
 
You can't have any form of entertainment without repetition; it's just the way it is. Also, not many anime fit that list because they usually don't take place in a high school, plus almost everything has blood and violence, so that isn't much of an argument.

I meant my definition of a horror, a horror to me is something that creeps you out when you watch it at night, and blood and monsters don't.
Ghost Hunt made me jump a couple of time, its sad that we don't get many anime series like this one knowing how good Japanese are at horrors.

Actually subtle/psychological horror is better.

I'm still watching anime, although I haven't read much manga lately.

Thank you for the recommendations, I will try to look more into these Anime's sometime. Though, I'm not a fan of Horror.

Yes I catch your drift, Hentai porn is a turn off, it's for perverted men. What's Vampire Knight about?

Naruto has the demon spirits . Garra's demon, Naruto's Nine tailed fox demon.
I'm not really a fan of Highschool anime's.

I love anime and I have been watching it for a very long time that I have lost count. I have watched many anime too.
