Of all the Mario characters who could possibly have a game about them, who do you think will get their own game next, and what will said game be like?
 
Yep, I saw it. Not sure if Waluigi or Bowser's game would be this new IP (although it would be pretty cool if either was), but I'm interested in Miyamoto's next project.

And seeing Psycho Waluigi being played on Youtube makes me think that'd be a good basis for Waluigi's own game:

Actually Bowser's Inside Story is almost his own game but I would love to see another one.

Better be Waluigi getting his own cheesy game... or else. *DUN DUN DUNNNNN*

Mostly because he seems like a character who could get into some hilarious mishaps.
 
I would love if Bowser or Toad got a game, but I think Waluigi should be playable in a new Wario Land game.
 
Aren't the rights to Waluigi owned by someone other than Nintendo? I think it's unlikely he'll get his own game anytime soon. I think Bowser's minions should get their own game for once. Maybe have a small team of them rescue Bowser from getting captured by Mario or something. It'd be interesting for Mario to play the villain again.

I don't know why they'd still want Waluigi, it was just Camelot that made him for Mario Tennis I think. Surely you'd just hand that kind of character over. And if they did own the rights, does that mean Nintendo has to get permission to use him in Mario Party and all those others games? That'd be weird.

Unless they've bought the rights recently then I think they still have to get permission to use him in those games. It must get annoying after having to get permission these past few years, that likely explains why he wasn't in Mario Kart 7. If they really wanted to though I'm sure they could manage to buy him, they just haven't had a big use for him yet.

EDIT: I checked into it and Camelot does still own Waluigi. Nintendo tried coming to an agreement with Camelot for Super Mario 64 DS to add Waluigi to the roster but failed, so it's unlikely that he'll get his own game or even appear in a mainstream Mario game anytime soon unless Camelot gives him up.

Yeah, had they came to an agreement then he could've easily been in SM64DS and there would have been a couple more levels at least. Camelot is a pain in the ass about Waluigi.
 
Why Camelot wants to hold on to Waluigi, I will never really know. I guess they just want to keep a part of Nintendo or something, heh.
 
I would LOVE to get a waluigi game! even just a mini game one.
At least it would explain his giant pinball arcade and the Construction cars (Golden Mantis).
 
I don't know which character *will* get their own get next, but the one that *should* get their own game is Waluigi. Definitely. Whether it's Waluigi Pinball 3D or something, or another Wrecking Crew sequel that's like Mario vs. Waluigi or something. I really want it to happen.
