It takes longer to upload a video then a photo since videos can be 50MB to 1GB+ in size.
Other possible reasons:
I guest some people don't like to post videos of themselves online since they are afraid some mean person yype a mean comment like how someone has a dumb voice, funny looks, weird body twitch, a lisp when they talk and poor taste in background music.
But, with photos there is less to make fun of since trolls can only make fun of someone looks, and the background they used to take the picture.

Same for me, and my pronunciation of some words are bad. My other reason of not posting videos is because I don't have much to post about that someone already did better then me like "juggling".
I just didn't like my mic, I got a new one. Honestly

care. Besides I have a sucky camera, but meh,
not horrible. It's just my old mic changed my whole voice,
and made it sound, well horrible.

yeah, I have problems saying words too. I think too fast and say words fast and I mess up.
Some prefer to be hidden to avoid publicity, and some prefer to share photos and videos of themselves to friends they know, and that's fair. Some celebrities are like that, though.
