Why do some people here not have a forum avatar yet?

Just curious. I know most active members do, but there's always one or two people who seem to use the default avatar for whatever reason and it can get kind of confusing.

Maybe I should change the default one to something super embarassing or ridiculous and see if that does anything.
 
I'd love this! ooh! This would make my day. Do it cheat!
 
because getting an image within the required range is kinda difficult ...it took me ten times to find an avatar

That's a huge problem for me as well...my current image is one I compressed by putting it in iPhoto and exporting it in "small" format to my email, then saving that image and using it. A tad annoying...if you remember back when I had the Vaati image, I couldn't get it to work for ages until I did the same thing for it (had to figure that out by fiddling with things for a time).

I know right? The max size is about 200*200, which is frustrating.
 
I could never be bothered. The idea of 'customising' my profile to show my 'individuality' has never really appealed to me. I'm showing my individuality by not giving a rat's arse.

Nin, change the default avatar to something stupid already.
 
Well I can resize images for people so long as they are willing to upload them here on the gallery.

I was being facetious.
And why should I not be able to exert my right to not give a damn and not add an avatar picture? Why should I be forced to add one? It just seems childish and unreasonably to change the default avatar to something stupid just to force people to add their own. Why should they have to?
