Speaking of the Nintendo Wii, the system has added much needed USB keyboard support to its functionality in the latest system update.

So now, when you're browsing the information super highway, you can do it with a keyboard and a Wii.

Also included with the update: Changes to the "Everybody Votes" channel.

In other Nintendo news: An updated version of Opera's Internet Channel for the Wii has launched. Not only to support the above mentioned keyboard, but also to include "Send to a friend," that enables you to send links to Web sites to your Wii friends.

Other internet improvements: Users can now copy information from a Web page and paste it directly into the search field. Users may also store nine more favorites, bringing the total to 56.

Yeah, it'll be nice to use the Wii to surf the net now. I've only use my Wii once before because I hated using the pointer.
