Because it's been an awfully long while since we've had a Mario Golf game, hasn't it? Last one was Mario Golf Advance Tour in 2004 (the Wii wasn't even out back then) and all in all, it seems a whole generation has gone without a single Mario Golf game being released.
If Nintendo do make one I'll continue the golfing blog I started with Mario Golf Toadstool Tour a while back. After I got Shadow Mario though I haven't touched the game since, so there's no reason to keep the blog. It's just... There... I guess.
