Will New Super Mario Bros 2 have multiplayer?

Because while on the one hand we haven't seen any multiplayer feature in action in the screenshots Nintendo provided at the recent Nintendo Direct thing, it would be a massive step down if the game didn't have some sort of New Super Mario Bros Wii style co-op. Indeed, the addition of flight to this game wouldn't ruin th gameplay this time around, since everyone would viewing different screens.

Not too aware of the 3DS specs, but I'm pretty sure the game's fully capable of having a similar multiplayer feature to NSMBW. The only thing I don't see happening is any sort of online multiplayer. That is, if we even get local multiplayer.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo will go for adding it. I don't see why they wouldn't.

Yeah, I'm sure that there will be some sort of Multiplayer, similar to NSMB (DS), but I'm not so sure there will be co-op, like NSMBW, as that might be hard to pull off. There probably won't be online either.

It would be very odd if they didn't, and they also have confirmed Luigi as in the game, so they're definitely going to have it.

I hope they do, and also add some mini-games...but looking at SM3DL, it doesn't have any multiplayer modes.
