Stadia seems to be struggling to the point that it could easily shut down, Google seeing it as a lost cause, but I do feel if they stick with it long enough, it could be successful, but do you guys think Google is in it for the long run?

Idk, I’m not sure how long it’ll take for internet technology to catch up to it. Things like good enough internet speeds, and some people maxing data caps in an afternoon really seem to be the Achilles heel

Stadia maybe around because there are cities, towns and countries with more reliable and faster internet.

Some games like puzzle games, board games, trivia, turn based RPG can be enjoyable even if it runs at a slower speed.

Google will likely pull the plug on it. It's not doing well at all. Consumers aren't buying into it anymore partly because it has no exclusives/reasons to and because the tech is not perfect, it has problems. Plus it often doesn't make sense for people to use this. Players who are playing Destiny 2 with a high light level aren't going to play this on Stadia with a potentially worse connection/lag when they likely already have a system they can play on. (Especially not to do raids or other events where input delay is a major factor and can mean the difference between dying or succeeding.) And the times Stadia might be useful, like at an airport or something, the connections aren't strong enough to be useful.

not to mention you have to pay for Destiny 2 continuously on Stadia.

It's hard to predict what can happen in the future. As bad as Stadia is right now, it could potentially have a great future. Unfortunately, knowing Google, Stadia won't last long if it isn't successful soon.
