Will the internet be more Audio based rather then visual/video based in the future?

Yes, I think once the average computer is as smart as the Watson super computer who can answer questions by asking questions to it then people would not need to look at the screen or browse the internet to look for answers to questions, and just listen to the computer answer questions which people ask it.

Plus, not having to look at the screen to find a answer by listening is more convenient since you can look at other things like the floor while you are walking or driving, or don't have to be in front of a screen to read the answer like a website, but instead turn up the volume or use wireless headphone and mic to ask and listen to the answer the computer gave you.

Website makers also might make an audio or MP3 version of their websites' articles in the future for people who just want to listen to the articles on their website like a radio newsshow rather then read the entire website.

Audio books are starting to be more popular because people find it more convenient to listen to a big book rather then read it word by word.

I think this falls into, the whole future will be controlled with mouth and ears thing.

Using speech to ask a question and listen to an answers which a internet program will answer for you can help you game as well, you can ask your computer to read you a game walkthrough while you are on a level, or give/paste you a cheat code while you game into the cheat code box while you are in the game instead of manually going to a search engine looking up the answer, and using your mouse to copy and paste the cheat code from the website to your cheat code box, or to read a walk through to cheat, or look up facts in a game.

Maybe in the future, the computer can be like a coach, and watch how you game, and use the internet to look for tips and suggestion for you to beat a boss in a game by shouting commands at you on what to do to beat the boss quickly by the computer reading walk throughs a loud to you which other users who beat the game written.
