No, I feel someday a laptop, MP3 player, clock, calculator, cell phone, camera, GPS, etc will all be built into a smart watch which can do many things from your watch on your wrist strap, and if you need a bigger monitor, or a keyboard, you plug them into the side of the watch via USB, or stream wirelessly with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to stream your keyboard, mouse, and monitor signal to your watch and accessories.

There are already Smart Watches which can do a lot of basic tasks like making calls, and playing apps, but they are slower, fewer features, and expensive.

I also used to have a key chain pocket watch, but it ran out of battery power, so now I just use the clock on my phone, and other devices. I think the Kindle Fire Tablet and regular Kindle has a watch, and you can go on websites to see what the time is in your city, or other cities around the world.

I still own a watch, but rarely use it unless I know I be going to a place without any clocks like the forest.

I think the watch will still be around as a fashion accessory, and status symbol for the rich to show others how rich and fashionable you are.

I can't wear watches as it irritates my wrist skin, But I'm fine with it as long as my phone as a watch.

I also like watches since it is more convenient to look at time when I need to be on time to meet someone.

I find the watch battery to last for a year, or longer before it needs to replaced. I used to turn off my watch when I'm not wearing it, and the battery lasted for many years before the battery finally died.

I wear loose metal watches which don't bother my skin. I don't like plastic and leather watch straps since they can be too tight, and the wrist strap get dirty faster compared to metal watches made from aluminium, steel, gold, silver, or platinum.
